I began my search for replacement windows in June 2008. I had sales visits from Anderson, Pella and Milgard (BNW). After listening to the sales presentation, I did the requisite reearch online to satisfy my due diligence needs. After much research and waffling back and forth, I decided to put my purchase on hold. To be honest, I was leaning toward the Pella composite windows. Late in the year, I received a follow-up call from BNW. It was perfect timing. We had just experienced some high winds and the memory of air infiltration was still fresh in my mind. I requested another sales call/demonstration and was immediately sold on the Milgard. The warranty is the best in the business and the quality of the windows are readily apparent. We placed the order and within a month the installation commenced. Our installer (Jerry) introduced himself to me and I knew immediately, this was the guy I wanted installing my windows. I was home the first day of the install and watched carefully as he went about his business. He was prompt, communication was excellent and the quality of his work was top notch. There is one feature that the sales presentation did not address. That is the noise attenuation. With the windows closed, the outside noises are virtually gone. My plantation shutters no longer were buffeted by the winds and the warmth in our house on a cold winter night was noticed immediately. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of the windows and workmanship provided by BNW and would heartily recommend this fine product and company to anyone contemplating window replacement.
