In the process of changing out an old deck, my son and I discovered that the masonite on our home had begun to rot. Some of the boards fell apart in our hand and at that time I realized new siding was in order. Upon closer inspection, the window sills, door jams and other places had a lot of water damage from leaking. One of the windows about fell out in my hand. I had heard about BNW when they were doing the home makeover for channel 12 and decided to apply for the contest. Though I did not win, I decided to contact BNW and see what they could do. I spoke with Tim and was quite overwhelmed with what needed to be done. So, the short of the story was that this was a HUGE project and it was going to cost no matter who did the work. So I had Tim price it out and we took the plunge and hired BNW to complete the work. All the siding was Duraplank, along with new trim and all new windows (24). I later had the front door replaced and a matching front storm door and painted the garage. It is now a “new” house. Friends come to visit and they miss the house because it does not look anything like my “old” house. Working with Bruce, Tim, and the rest of the team was great. I have a tight schedule and they were patient in getting the work scheduled and completed around my availability. Over all, it took about 2 weeks, but, again – they had to work around my availability and they were very patient. I have greatly enjoyed my new house. It still seems weird to drive up and see the stark difference from the “before” and “after”. I would recommend Bruce and “the team” to anyone.
