How Heat Mirror® technology works.

Experience the cutting-edge Heat Mirror technology, which employs multiple layers of thin, transparent films suspended within the airspace of an insulating glass unit. Coated with microscopic layers of metals or metal oxides, these films selectively reflect or transmit different wavelengths of light and heat.

During summer, Heat Mirror technology reflects a significant portion of the sun’s infrared radiation, keeping the interior cooler. In winter, it reflects interior heat back into the home, reducing heat loss and maintaining warmth.
